New Commenting on Recipes & Articles : Announcements & What's New!

We have made some interesting changes to the website concerning commenting on recipes and articles. Commenting is now integrated with the forums, which gives you all the functionality of posting in the forums (editing posts, quoting what someone said, etc.) as well as being visible in the active topics list. Comments on a recipe or article will be visible both in the forum displayed as regular forum posts, and on the recipe or article page in a manner similar to blog posts.

We are in the process of converting existing recipes and articles to the new comment format. Look for the comment icon next to the recipe or article name on lists to see which ones have been converted.

Hopefully this and other changes will increase comments and participation throughout the site.

Happy New Year! We here at CaribbeanChoice are working on some exciting things. Here are some of them:

More Recipes! We are adding more recipes to the Recipe Section, and fixed the Add a Recipe form so you can add recipes too.
More Forum Areas! To make it easier to find discussions you want to participate in, we have added additional forum areas.
Toolbar with Internet Radio: We now have our own toolbar with useful features like internet radio, weather, e-mail notifier and pop-up blocker as well as easy access to the latest CaribbeanChoice content.
Facebook & Twitter: We now have two fan pages on Facebook. The CaribbeanChoice Fan Page gives you updates (like this one) on what is happening on the site, as well as shows your support for CaribbeanChoice. The second one is the Caribbean Food Fan Page which displays new recipes. Plus you can Follow Us on Twitter too.
Updated Battle of the Islands: We have enhanced the Battle of the Islands to better reflect user participation on the website. You can now see the most active countries and users on CaribbeanChoice.
And More to Come!
