Looks interesting. It seems to be designed for technical people though. The first thing it asks you for is your private key, which I think is risky. Hubzilla uses private & public keys too, but it does that on the backend, not the front-end.

I would think that the protocol is the interesting part of the equation. It could even be adapted to work with something like Hubzilla, because both have private and public keys associated with an account. But I am not sure I would want my server to be a relay, not knowing what is being relayed.
