Giving crypto payments to popular content smells fishy, but otherwise it seems to check a lot of boxes similar to
#Fediverse
sites. Haven't found out yet if they DO federate.
Anyone know anything about this?

I couldn't find anything in their docs about federation. The only thing I did see was a DID, which is something that Bluesky would have. But that does not mean it would federate.
